How it all started

I never thought I'd be the «relationships» person. I was the events person — photoshoots, organising other people's celebrations, giving people a beautiful day. Meanwhile my own was coming apart at the seams.

We'd been together 8 years. And at some point I landed in exactly the spot I now talk to women about: you love him — and living together is unbearable. And from every direction, the same thing — «just leave him, you deserve better», «why do you even need this», «walk away».

I was told to leave — so I left. It was one of the most thoughtless decisions of my life.

Why I'm into this at all

I'd already been through one marriage that ended — and I really didn't want to walk that road a second time. My mother lived with my father until his death. My grandmothers and great-grandmothers on both sides — the same story: there were no break-ups «just because», ever. If a couple ended, it ended only with the death of one of the two, sooner or later. Not with divorce, not with «we just drifted apart».

Coming back wasn't easy. So much so that I went not to a psychologist — but to a psychiatrist with thirty years of experience. Because what was happening inside me needed exactly that level of help, and I admitted that honestly.

And that's when I started to really work it out — what happens between people, why relationships fall apart, and whether it could have gone differently. I read Gottman, studied attachment theory, took apart the mechanics of what had happened, piece by piece. I talked a lot with my mother, trying to understand in detail the secret of her marriage.

I applied all of it. And the relationship that was falling apart at the seams became the one I'm in now — 11 years already. That's when I understood I wanted to show this to others.

My approach

I'm for family. Not out of morality, but because I've seen how often «freedom» turns into loneliness, and «he'll never change» into not wanting to change yourself.

But I'm not for «put up with it at any cost» either. If something can be repaired — we repair it. Honestly, without rose-tinted sentiment and without blame. I don't teach you to endure, and I don't teach you to leave. I teach you to stop walking the same circle.

What I build on

Not esoterics and not «feminine energy». On what's been tested for decades: John Gottman's research (from the way a couple talks, he predicted divorce with close to 90% accuracy) and Sue Johnson's emotionally focused therapy. Plus attachment theory — the very one the free test starts with.

I simply translated it all from the scientific language into the human one. And added a little irony — there's no doing without it.
